WI-FI control panels

The most modern are the fan coil remote controls via WI-FI. In addition to the general advantages of wireless remote controls, they differ from infrared  by a much larger range;  the presence of feedback, as in wired ones;

• independence of communication from obstacles (with the exception of the "Faraday cage" - complete electrical shielding from all sides);
  
• independence of communication from the position of the remote control (no need to aim in a certain direction);
  
• independence of communication from contamination of the transmitter or receiver.
  

Thus, it becomes possible to control fan coil units in an adjacent room or behind a false ceiling, etc., that is, out of line of sight, as they are often located. And feedback allows not only to control, but also to control the execution of commands and programs, as well as to receive various diagnostic signals about errors, malfunctions and modes that can potentially lead to malfunctions. Against the background of the described positive qualities, the main property of wireless remote controls - mobility - becomes not so significant. And therefore, WI-FI remotes are often not carried in a pocket, but constantly kept on a table or even fixed on a wall, reducing the likelihood of damage and pollution, and also completely eliminating their loss. Stationary power is also possible - without all the disadvantages of an autonomous one. The difference with wired control remains only in the fact that no wiring is required between the remote control and the fan coil unit (this can more than pay for the increased cost of the system compared to wired if it is installed after the aesthetic decoration of the room).
