OLMO fans & motors


OLMO fans & motors started its activity more than 50 years ago in Italy and over the years has established itself in Europe as a leading supplier of electric motors to the refrigeration market. In the late 1990s, the Elco Group acquired OLMO, in the years leading up to this takeover, OLMO fans & motors had an impressive range of electric motors, fans and blowers and an enviable reputation for product quality.

After the takeover, OLMO products were assimilated into the Elco product range and many of them received new motor numbers. Electric motor production was transferred from the OLMO Caronno Pertusella plant to Elco's large factory complex in Inzago near Milan.

Olmo /Elco fans & motors England was opened in 2002 to enhance the range of electric motors and fan made by the Elco group including the OLMO product range. In 2011, Olmo / Elco fans & motors England became part of the Regal Beloit Corporation.
