Ziehl-Abegg

The German company, a leading manufacturer of fans, was founded in 1910 and is still a leader in the field of energy saving and increasing the performance of fans.

In the 1950s, Ziehl-Abegg made a breakthrough in the development of external rotary electric motors as drives for fans. Today, the Ziehl-Abegg product line includes: axial and centrifugal fans, electric drives and fan controllers for air conditioning and ventilation applications in industrial buildings and industrial complexes, gearless and geared elevator drives, hoist motors and controllers for drives. More than 1,500 people work at the Ziehl-Abegg head office in Germany.

The company also has branches in Bieringen and the industrial park Hohenlohe. Ziehl-Abegg is the largest employer in the region. Ziehl-Abegg has subsidiaries, production sites, representatives and sales partners in more than 30 countries worldwide.
