RPM was one of the first companies in its sector to recognize the importance of the extensive use of electronics in the manufacture of its products. To this end, Elettrotest was founded in 1986, specifically for the development and production of custom-made electronic control systems.
Electric motors RPM Motori Elettrici
It is one of the companies belonging to the Giordano Riello International Group specializing in the production of air conditioning and ventilation systems.
In order to supply the market with a wide range of electric motors, RPM founded G.R. Motori Elettrici SPA. In 1989, which specializes in the production of rotating stators for axial and centrifugal electric fans.
In 2000, the top management of the company decided to transfer part of the production of some models, so a plant appeared in Hungary under the name "RPM Hungaria". The plant is located in Salgotarjan, 100 km northeast of Budapest, and began operating in 2001.
The quality control system has always been a priority for RPM Motori Elettrici. That is why the company was one of the very first to be certified according to 9001 UNI EN ISO: 2000 in 1996.
One of the most important and significant is the project created jointly with Elettrotest. The project made it possible to produce the latest series of motors with a power of ½ - ¾ - 1 hp, equipped with electronic frequency control directly connected to the motor and with “sensorless” algorithms, which satisfies the control control requirements of axial and centrifugal fans.
RPM's total output exceeds 5,000 units per day, 50% of which are oriented to overseas markets.
